Notice to Clients | Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The declaration of Coronavirus (COVID-19) as a pandemic is a realization by health officials that the virus is expected to impact populations all around the world. At PF Collins we are committed to maintaining our services in the supply chain, subject as always to the health and safety of our employees, clients, and community.

Each of our offices have tested emergency management and continuity plans and most services can be performed by remote working. Any changes to our service levels will be communicated immediately.

The future impact on the global supply chain is unknown. To date, cargo services to/from Canada have been largely unaffected, with the exception of service to/from China. However, air cargo will be impacted by reductions in passenger flights across the North Atlantic and other service reductions announced this week. Ocean and surface modes may experience changes, but we are hopeful that the worst will be service delays, rather than service elimination.

We are in frequent contact with cargo carriers and government agencies to see what can be done to minimize impacts on the supply chain. The pandemic will advance and circumstances will change, but we will do our best to keep you up to date on local and global efforts to keep cargo moving.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns regarding your shipments.
